We’re living in an era where AI is the only conversation that matters, both inside and outside the workplace. While there’s infinite potential, many are paralyzed by the fear of losing their jobs. It’s a shift more radical and aggressive than the Industrial Revolution and the Luddite movement—and frankly, that fear is justified since our livelihoods are on the line.

But I believe Tony Stark’s value came from the synergy between the suit and the man himself. That’s why I chose “Proof that Tony Stark has a heart” as the hero image for my first post.

We have hearts. We have warmth. Our ability to endure the fininitude of life and our own unstable emotions is exactly what creates a value that AI simply cannot replicate. While I’m grateful for AI taking over the tasks I’d rather not do, I often wonder: What kind of era will we inhabit once we are liberated from labor? I like to imagine a future where humans are respected simply for existing, moving beyond mere productivity. Call it an idealist’s dream in a world rife with dystopia and cynicism, but it’s a vision I hold dear.

회사 안팎에 상관없이 AI가 가장 화두인 시대에 살고 있습니다. 무한한 가능성보다 많은 사람들이 자신의 직업이 사라질까 두려워 합니다. 러다이트 운동이 일어난 산업혁명보다 더 급진적이고 공격적인 변화이니, 사람들이 이만치 두려워하는 게 오히려 양반으로 보일 정도입니다. 직업은 생계와 직결되는 문제니까요.

하지만 아이언맨이 차별화된 가치를 세상에 만들 수 있었던 이유는 로봇과 달리 토니스타크라는 실제 인간과의 결합이기 때문이라고 생각합니다. 그래서 토니스타크에게 심장이 있다는 증거를 첫 글 이미지로 정했습니다.

우리에겐 심장, 따뜻한 마음이 있습니다. 삶의 유한함과 불안정한 감정을 견뎌내는 인간의 특성이 AI와는 다른 가치를 창출할 수 밖에 없다고 생각합니다.

하기 싫은 일 대신 해주는 AI가 고맙기도 해요. 노동에서 해방된 사람들은 어떤 시대를 새로 살게 될까요? 그 어느 때보다 존재만으로 인간으로 존중 받을 수 있는 시대가 오지 않을까 상상도 해봅니다. 디스토피아, 염세주의가 팽배한 시기라 이상적인 상상을 한번 그려봤습니다. 하하.

오늘은 감성적인 글로 시작했지만, 앞으로는 치열하게 비즈니스와 기술 사이에서 제가 어떤 시스템을 빌딩하는지 그 기록을 남기고자 합니다. 무엇이든 제 심장에 콕 들어오는 내용이 있다면 여기에 다 모아보려구요.
